The one question that I’m still surprised to get every week is this one: what does an Albany property manager do? Because I’m a professional property manager, I think I expect everyone to know this. I at least expect people in the real estate industry to know this. If you own properties or you’re a landlord or a realtor, I always assume you will know what a property manager does. But, everyone still asks the question, so we’re answering that today.
Taking on Landlord Duties
Essentially, a property manager becomes a landlord for the property owner. There are landlord duties and responsibilities that are required when you own a property and you have a tenant living in that property. You’ll need to do things like collect rent, schedule maintenance, and answer questions from tenants. You’ll also need to handle tenant complaints and potential evictions. A property management company can take over all those responsibilities on your behalf. If you don’t have the time or the knowledge to deal with these things, we can take care of it all for you.
Choosing Albany Property Management Services
When you hire a professional property management company, you’re saving yourself time and even money. You won’t have to worry about the expense of making mistakes. A good property manager will provide all the services you need, but none of the services you don’t need. You can hire someone to do full service management and take care of everything for you, or you can talk about the specific things you need. If you need help with leasing, evictions, maintenance, or rent collection, we do all of that.
